to our Garden Alchemy
As a practice La Pietra Rossa extends the passion of Maurizio Usai towards plants, gardens, landscapes and the positive emotions that all can bring.
Since a young age, Usai has studied garden history, architecture, engineering, horticulture and has developed his expertise in garden design as a result.
The goal of our design consultancy is to combine regional culture and landscapes with the requirements of the client to create each garden with a unique and timeless atmosphere.
The starting point of our design process is the interpretation of the spirit of the place; that elusive entity which encompasses nature, architecture, materials, culture and traditions, which needs to be respected in harmony with the client’s needs and balanced with the surrounding environment.
The objective, whether in a natural, rural or urban context, is to achieve a fluid balance between home, garden and landscape, architecture and planting, colours and textures.
